A Quick Introduction ...

I am a freelance writer/journalist and editor based in Brisbane, Australia. My passion is for exploring the potential of the written word and sharing stories that matter. When I am not writing, I've usually got my nose in a book or magazine, or I'm out exploring the wonderful city I call home. 

Background

I've worked in the magazine industry for the last 10 years, most notably as the assistant editor of map magazine – a magazine dedicated to positive media. It was a joy to curate the pages of the magazine and pen stories about people who get up each day and make the world a better place for having done so. I have also written for Peppermint magazine, Broadsheet, Swell magazine, The Weekend Edition and The Road Ahead online, and contributed to a number of content marketing and custom publishing projects as an in-house agency copywriter. 

Fun fact: I’m also a Certified Tea Master, and I have a deep passion for tea editorial and tea consulting.
